Memory of the Walls
A letter in our nation language
For the first itiretaion of The Memory of the Walls in Martinique, Bree guided participants on an immersive writing workshop, exploring their family archives, where they engaged with concepts of lineage and memory through : words, personal stories, songs, and materiality. The entire workshop was conducted in Martinican creole / Palé Matinitjé, underscoring the intrinsic link between the nation language and family archives.
